Surrounding the fest, the band will also be playing the following dates: November 4th in St. Petersburg, FL at the State Theater November 5th in New Orleans, LA at Jimmy's November 7th in Houston, TX at Fitzgeralds A 2-week European tour is also being worked on for mid-December. In between, they will continue pre-production on the upcoming album which should be ready to hit the streets in early 2000. In other Morbid news...there have been many questions concerning a show that was advertised in Queens, NY back on August 6th. This show was never confirmed and several months prior to the date, the club (the Voodoo Lounge) was told, in no uncertain terms, that Morbid Angel would NOT be appearing at that venue. However, the club went forward with promoting the show anyway and had several (at least 4) local bands sell 50 $12 tickets each in order to appear on the bill. Needless to say, there were a lot of furious people who showed up...and rightly so. The club evidently made lots of money by promoting a ficticious show and everyone involved with Morbid Angel is quite dismayed and disappointed by these fraudulent actions.
