Tucker recorded his vocal parts in New York City during a break in Morbid Angel's recently concluded 'Formulas Fatal To The Flesh' 1999 World Tour. CREMASTER 2 is loosely based on the life of Gary Gilmore, who was immortalized in Norman Mailer's epic book 'The Executioner's Song.' The film is a hallucinatory marriage of glaciers, salt flats, bees, murder, magic, and mythology. The cast includes Barney as Gilmore and Norman Mailer as Harry Houdini. CREMASTER 2's score is composed by Jonathan Bepler with contributions from Tucker, Patty Griffin, and a drum solo from legendary heavy metal performer Dave Lombardo. "It truly was a great experience to not only see how a film comes together, but to also have been a part of it," Tucker commented. "I'm proud to have had the opportunity to work with people like Dave Lombardo and these talented filmmakers." CREMASTER 2 premieres in Minneapolis, MN at The Walker Art Center on July 18, 1999; in Florance, Italy at Pitti Imagine on September 22, 1999; and in New York City at the Film Forum on October 13th, 1999.
